Currently, the volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Germany makes 2.3 billion euros, up 14% compared to last year, Executive Director of Eastern Committee of German Economy Rainer Lindner said at the Azerbaijani-German business meeting.

To him, representatives of 20 German companies attended the business meeting: “We discussed the prospects of economic cooperation between the two countries with the Azerbaijani side. At the same time, we will hold talks on cooperation in the fields of construction, infrastructure, energy with Azerbaijani government”.

German companies offered to supply agricultural equipment to Azerbaijan.

Lindner noted that the current trade volume between the two countries was at a satisfactory level. “Azerbaijan and Germany coped with the crisis very well. Although a number of EU countries still suffer from it”.
